Dashboards & KPIs
Dashboards and KPIs now sit inside the Performance workspace. Together they provide the monitoring layer that helps teams see the current state of the business and act on it.
Key Concepts
| Concept | Description |

| Dashboard | A visual layout of charts, KPI values, and text summaries — built by AI |
| KPI | A Key Performance Indicator — a metric that auto-refreshes on a schedule |
| Brick | A building block of a dashboard (chart, KPI value, or text block) |
| Business Context | Your business description and goals — used by AI to create relevant dashboards |
| Business Pulse | Starred KPIs that appear on the Home Dashboard |
Relationship to Performance
In older versions of the product, dashboards and KPIs were often described as a standalone module. In the current product structure, users enter this work through Performance.
Use the Performance workspace when you want to:
- set business context
- define KPI coverage
- generate dashboards
- review alerts and follow-up needs

- Star your best KPIs — They'll appear in the Business Pulse on the Home Dashboard
