Intelligence
The Intelligence workspace shows results from automated investigations. These investigations help explain what changed, why it matters, and what should happen next.

Understanding Investigations
An investigation is an automated analysis that examines a specific aspect of your data. Investigations can be trigged by:
| Trigger | How It Starts |
|---|---|
| Anomaly | Automatically when a KPI anomaly is detected |
| Forecast | Automatically when a forecast identifies a trend break |
| Manual | You click "Run Analysis" from the Intelligence page |
| Prompt | A question or follow-up workflow triggers a deeper investigation |
| Scheduled | Periodic automatic investigations |
Investigation List

Each investigation card shows:
- Trigger icon — Identifies how the investigation was started
- KPI Name — Which metric is being investigated
- Status — Running (in progress), Completed (done), or Failed
- Confidence — How reliable the findings are (0-100%)
- Duration — How long the analysis took
- Summary — A brief description of the findings
Confidence Indicator
| Level | Color | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| ≥ 80% | 🟢 Green | High confidence — findings are statistically significant |
| 50-79% | 🟡 Yellow | Moderate confidence — findings are directional but not definitive |
| < 50% | 🔴 Red | Low confidence — insufficient data or conflicting signals |
Filtering Investigations
Use the filter bar to narrow results:
- Search — Filter by KPI name or summary text

Intelligence vs. Advanced Analysis: Intelligence focuses on investigations that explain movement in KPIs or alerts. For broader structured analytics such as clustering, forecasting, basket analysis, or driver analysis, use Advanced Analysis.
